One of the incredible things about plastic is that there are practically no limits to its application. Thanks to Vespula vulgaris, today’s tale from Sinclair & Rush has a sting in it.
Vespula vulgaris – the common wasp and Vespula germanica – the German wasp are the two noisy blighters that plague our summer picnics and disturb an al fresco beer. Some leap about, hands waving in the air screaming in fear and succeeding only in antagonising the yellow and black striped peril. Others quietly lure the critters into improvised wasp traps of upturned beer baited empties and ashtrays.
But for Groveline Products Limited, the solution is defined and permanent.
Sinclair & Rush contribute in two ways. We supply the plugs to protect the extension pipes so that, once removed, the pipes fit together precisely to deliver the powder right onto the nest. For obvious reasons, the further away the operator is able to stand, the less furrowed might be his / her brow at the time of application.
Also, because of our ability to mix, dip mould and deliver a vast range of shapes, sizes and colours, Groveline can colour code the caps on different powder capsules. Coloured sleeves also denote one type of pipe over another (above). The operator follows the colour code to fit the appropriate capsule to the correct extension pipe – you can see this in action in the clip below:
